The valves are designed to protect low pressure blowers and middle pressure valve is specifically recommended for the fan service.
Its large tip provides high flow capacity, and is designed to open at a pressure accurately with minimal preset before open flight. Cast iron body has internal copper brass male threaded connection.
A pivot between disc and spring corrects misalignment and compensates for lateral thrust. Seats flat bronze valve overlap for optimal performance, and the valve is equipped with a sofa-ring for testing.
All valves are set and tested the exact pressure that you specify, within a range from 1 to 60 psi. To minimize leakage before opening, it is recommended that the overall pressure of 1 psi or 5% higher than the operating pressure, whichever is greater. The valve pressure setting of 15 psi and higher.
