Ultrasonic Flowmeter
The ultrasonic flowmeter has established itself as the standard multibeam flow measurement for custody transfer. The absence of obstacles or moving parts in the pipe, ensures no wear or pressure loss. This, in combination with large tube sizes allows a simplified configuration of measurement systems. For example, screens and parallel lines are less necessary.
The operation is maintenance free. Routine calibration is not required, dramatically reducing costs for the site equipment and procedures. All this results in considerable cost savings in both capital and operating expenses.
