Specially designed for use with raw sewage and other debris-laden fluids.
Direct acting, spring loaded and super-sensitive for accurate pressure control.
Integral hydraulic dashpot provides ideal fast opening and slow closing operation.
Long radius 900 elbow or in-line wye body with ANSI, BS, DIN or ISO flanges.
Manufactured in sizes 2 to 16 inches (50 to 400 mm).
Function and Applications
Protects system from excessive over pressure by opening quickly when inlet pressure exceeds pre-set maximum and slowly closing tight when pressure returns to normal. Installed on system side of pump check valve in pump stations.
