Series 250 Air-Cushioned Swing Check Valves
Heavy-duty, non-slamhigh performance pump discharge check for water or sewage, exceeds AWWA C508 standard.
Cast iron body with stainless steel/bronze trim, replaceable rubber seat for drop tight shutoff , outside lever and counterweight with side mounted cushion chamber.
Available in sizes 2½ to 60 inches (65 to 1,500 mm) with ANSI, BS, DIN or ISO flanges.
Sizes 10-inch and smaller available as “single- or “double-increasing”
Rubber-lined check valves available for abrasion resistance.
Alternate materials and higher pressures available.
Function and Applications
Opens when flow is moving forward, closes quickly to prevent backflow. Excellent for use on discharge of water, wastewater, sludge and raw sewage pumps for quiet, non-slam operation.
