The rotameters or variable area flowmeters mechanical flowmeters are very simple but very reliable.
The operating principle is based on a conical-shaped tube and a float. The liquid or gas passing through the tube by raising the float to the point that the area between the tube and float is sufficient to pass the liquid or gas.
Variable area flowmeter for measuring gas and liquid, is designed for applications in chemical industry, food industry and pharmaceutical industry.
