Portable Pump
The Pump is an electric submersible pump well known for its high purge rates and ability to reduce to a low flow for sampling.
The pump is designed to fit inside a standard 2″ monitoring well. The variable frequency drive converter will work with either 115 or 230 volt electrical supply. It can also accept a 4-20 mA signal from a pressure transducer or flow meter to regulate the pump during pump tests.
Solinst has built a rugged portable system which mounts the controller, reel, pump, Teflon® motor lead and tubing on a convenient hand cart.
Large pneumatic tires on the hand cart allow easy transport over rough terrain. The cart features an adjustable height tubing guide which protects the tubing and cable from damage on sharp edges of well casing.
The cart is designed for single person, field transportation and operation.
