MINI METER SET (SHALLOW WATER)
This meter is identical to AA Current Meters except for its smaller size, making it suitable for shallow water with a minimum depth of 3″ or when water velocity is below 3.0 feet per second and above 0.05 feet per second. The bucket wheel is precisely balanced on a vertical pivot and is rotated by the current. The rotation rate is proportional to the velocity, which is determined by counting the number of rotations over a specific time period. Revolutions are monitored manuallly with a headset and tally meter, or with a digital readout.
Constructed of stainless steel, brass, bronze, and chrome plated parts, this device comes in a foam carry case. Also included: English and Metric rating charts, screw driver, spare parts, special lubricant, and instructions.
