Standard 3½ mesh, nominal 3/16″ square opening for greater flow area and improved headloss compared to perforated metal basket.
Function and Applications
Strains solids from flow stream. Municipal and industrial applications include protecting pumps, valves and meters from damage and clogging due to debris, straining foreign matter in return lines from mold and quench water in steel mills, etc.
