PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
Series 502 uses the well recognized Kurz thermal convective
mass flow measurement technology, using constant
temperature anemometry. Kurz Series 502 Mass Flow
Elements feature the unique “MetalClad” “MD” Dual-
Sting thermal mass flow sensor. The Kurz sensor provides
the fastest flow and temperature response of any
process grade mass flow sensor (see Fig. 1 and Fig 2).
