Heavy-duty, two-stage controlled-closing, non-slam, pump discharge check valves for water or sewage.
Adjustable final closing speed to help reduce pump shutdown surges.
Cast iron body with stainless steel/bronze trim, replaceable rubber seat for drop tight shutoff , outside lever and counterweight with side mounted hydraulic cylinder and closing speed controls.
Available in sizes 2½ to 24 inches (65 to 600 mm) up to 150 PSI working pressure.
Function and Applications
Installed on discharge of water, wastewater, sludge and raw sewage pumps for quiet non-slam operation. When properly applied, valve can help reduce pump shutdown surges by allowing a portion of flow to reverse through valve during the final, controlled closure.
