Emergency Cut-In Valves
Uses Golden-AndersonÒ differential piston main valve.
Globe or angle body with ANSI, BS, DIN or ISO flanges.
Manufactured in sizes 2 to 42 inches (50 to 1,000 mm).
Available in many variations to accommodate virtually any control scheme.
Function and Applications
Automatically opens when downstream pressure drops below pre-set minimum to introduce auxiliary water supply, then closes when downstream pressure is restored. Typically used to augment industrial plant’s internal water supply or to inter-connect two municipal water systems during periods of high demand such as a fire, drought or other emergency.
