Single-Acting Altitude Valves
Uses Golden-AndersonÒ differential piston main valve.
Super-sensitive pilot for accurate level control.
Globe or angle body with ANSI, BS, DIN or ISO flanges.
Manufactured in sizes 2 to 42 inches (50 to 1,000 mm).
Available in many variations to accommodate virtually any control scheme.
Function and Applications
Installed in supply line to an elevated tank, standpipe or reservoir. Closes to prevent overflow when supply head exceeds maximum water level. Single-acting altitude valve re-opens to replenish tank when water level drops below maximum. Water must be drawn out of tank through another pipe or a check valve bypassed around altitude valve.
